Default Tire Recommendations?

96 Cherokee, 2WD, stock

I deliver mail so I'm on & off road. Looking for something to keep me from sliding past the boxes when the grass is wet, but not be overkill for a 2WD. Any suggestions?

Maybe consider a dedicated winter tire then pull them when the weather breaks.

I recommend Cooper Discoverer AT3 (pictured) or Firestone Destination AT.
Both are 'all terrain' but offer great road manners, are quiet, and economical.
I also had a set of highway tires on the jeep for a while, I know how slippery they can be.

I just went through my second winter with General Grabber AT2's. I like them alot. Actually my wife runs the Cherokee more than I do in bad weather. No problems at all.

Depends where you live if you need a snow rated tire or not.Really any all terrain should fit your needs.I would look at like a bf goodrich all terrain.

I went with the Coopers. No complaints so far. No more sliding past boxes or trouble getting back onto roads after a rain.

Yea I agree those coopers are the tires I'm looking at now to get. My cus has them on his f250 and they are pretty meaty tires and I like the tire pattern also. Coopers are a good tire in general they also make Micky Thompson, definity, dick cepek and mastercraft tires.

For Florida, take a look at Kumho KL78s. Excellent in the rain/wet. Inexpensive, long wearing....
