Tire Choices
I have a 2000 stock xj in mint condition, I bought it new and do not drive it every day. It has 54,000 miles, the original battery and tires. I have not liked the GY Wrangler rt/s since I bought it, but I have never gotten stuck in anything, including 24" of snow. I am needing tires because they are showing signs of cracking, the tread could go 10,000-15,000 more. I only rotated them once.
I want 235/75/15 or possibly 9.5x30x15 depending on what I finally decide on. I will upgrade shocks but do not want to lift it, I want it to remain as stock as possible and plan on keeping it until in blows up. The choices I am looking at are.
Kumho kl61
GY Silent Armor
GY Duratrac
General Grabber at2
Any advice would be appreciated.

Grabber AT2 are going to be out of stuck anywhere in that size for atleast another month or so. Ask me how I know. I cancelled my order for them and got BFG A/T for $600 shipped. I have heard great things about the Silent Armors.

Never had any of these but I want to add, don't get Bridgestone Deiler AT's if you drive in snow. I bought a set this past April and they now sit in the basement of my home. The worst tires I've ever driven on in snow. I put the stock Wrangler RT/S back on and they are great.

Duratrac Duratrac Duratrac Duratrac Duratrac FTW! x1000 I have nothing negative to say about them aggressive AT tread, grip in dry wet snow sand mud, and silent even at 80mph ( not recommending doing 80+ in a jeep but they are still silent)
