tint was a bad idea
I thought I wanted to re tint my windows. My front door glass had nothing, and the other windows weren't as dark as I wanted. So I stripped the old tint film off.
I've tinted windows on literally dozens of vehicles.
Never had any major issues. Even used cheapo walmart tint with decent results.
I figured I would try one of those precut kits on ebay. Wow that was a bad idea.
I had major problems getting some of the backing off the tint, had major problems getting it to stick. And to top it off, most of the precut pieces were too small. The vent windows were the right size but the holes for the latch and hinge didn't line up.
I guess I should have stuck with the way it was tinted before :/

you could always go to a professional. I like doing stuff myself but tinting is a pain. Plus the pro guys do it for pretty cheap from what ive seen. Definatly worth the hassel and to have it come out great.

I also tried the precut ebay tint. I thought that I would save some money by doing it myself. After fighting the first piece of glass for 30 minutes, I tore it off and threw it in the trash. Its worth the money to me to have a professional do it.

Pics wouldn't do any good now, I've already got them stripped back down. With as many spots that were letting go already, I saw no point in leaving it on there
I can't afford to have it done prodessionally. Way too many other things to drop 200 bucks on
I honestly would have been better off going to walmart

if you want to try again let me know I got one of those precut kits from ebay I'll give you if you pay shipping it's only missing the drivers wind-wing tint I ended up paying $180.00 to have the whole thing professionally tinted.

I got an email from the seller asking me to leave 5 star positive feedback in every category.
Little hard to leave positive feedback. I emailed them last night to see if they were willing to do anything about it. Still haven't heard from them

I guess I got lucky. I ordered a precut kit on ebay and it was a snap to install and looks great! Had it on for about a year and it still is holding up.
