Default Time For A Chop?

Alright, well with my new project to build a bumper, i decided im going to chop the back off and have a mj back added into the xj to close it off. But im not that good. My question is. What is a ball park range cost for this if i take it to a shop? i want it to look like this one!!!

with time invested, anything is within your ability. For something like that I wouldn't take it to a shop. I'd do it myself and just take my time to do it the right way

i do not own a welder or know what kind of welder to buy. or have any of the tools i would need.

even buying all the tools needed its still gonna be cheaper then any shop will charge!!!

i guess so. but i would rather save up and have the shop do it. because i dont have the experience to do such a task

...the only way to get experience doing stuff like that is by just doing it. FrankZ and Nick never learned all that they know by paying a shop to do things for them. just my $0.02

well i will consider it. first im going to hunt down the back of an mj and go from there.
