Ive had a set of SkyJacker nitros on my jeep for 6 years and aside from blowing one from bottoming it out, they are still as stiff as the day I bought them. They're cheap, tough, "crappy" white bodies... but as a budget shock I'd buy them again in a heartbeat.

My general opinion:

Shocks are shocks. Save money and get whatever you can afford.

Thanks for your help, I had never heard on them before here in Australia. I'm currently running ranchos and just wondering which were the better shock.

If your new and don't know what your doing or looking at.. then yeah.. Shocks are shocks... I've had skyjacker shocks going on 4 years and haven't had any issues with the suspension. I would recommend Skyjacker for any kind of lift height.

Don't just settle or the cheaper brand. Procomp, Rustys, RoughCountry.. Are not brands that will last longer than a year.

Brands like Skyjacker, Rubicon, SuperLift, Teraflex. Those brands will last you longer that a year.

if you're still running short arms and sway bar disconnects, white shocks are probably the right shocks for you
