HOrray!
I bought my DD off of a guy for 500 bucks because it needed a battery and he couldn't figure out what was wrong with it. He couldn't get it to run. This thing was bone stock and perfect inside and out.
I drove over to his house, signed the title, gave him the cash, walked outside, put a battery in it that I had in the back of the truck, started it up and drove it on the trailer.
I even tried to tell him it was the battery before he sold it to me but he was tired of messing with it.
Glad you fixed it. If not, I would have had to drive to New York to fix the line and drive it home.

you're going to waste more time selling the xj and buying something else than it would take you to fix it.
Don't have time? drop it at a shop on the way to work, pick it up on the way home.
Don't have moeny? It will cost you less to fix it than you will lose on all the recent tune-up/brake stuff you've done by selling it.
That's a clean looking Cherokee
my .02
Just saw you fixed it. Atta boy!
