You can't just call that a frame. just because the shape appears similar doesn't make it a frame. a normal frame is structurally solid without the body. And the unibody frame rails are just stamped sheetmetal which is very thin in most places, and extremely weak when separated from the unibody.
And that build you posted is nothing like what you described.
