The more I look at built MJs the more convinced I am that I want one. I did a quick search within like 500 miles of my area code and only like 5 showed up, most of them were 2WD. Are they really that hard to find? And was 2wd more common? What would I expect to pay for one in decent shape(no terrible rust, dont care so much about drivetrain/engine, thats easy to fix)?

 

If you could get one cheap enough, just convert it to 4WD. My BIL did that with his and its been an awesome rig.

 

I am in the same boat they are pretty neat trucks.

depending on condition, miles, problems...expect to pay somewhere between $1000-$2500. in my encounters, i'd say its about half and half between 2wd-4wds.
