As for the wave thing I never know which xj owners are cool around me there's so many xjs on the road it's crazy. And I hate to say it most of the lifted Rigs round here look like stuck up ******* and they forget they own xjs

And for the parts store jack*** he was a big one. I've never in my life heard of a box Cherokee. I think he was trying to cover his *****.

No problem.. Anything for a XJ owner... Yeah the D35 is a common unfortunate rear axle that is very very common in alot of jeeps. So you good sir have the C8.25/29 spline Rear (congrats) and a Low Pinion D30 Front.

I'd like another XJ some day. Good Times..

Yea I'm glad for the C8.25 but the low pinion makes lifting an 00-01 a lil harder sometimes get more vibrations and other binding problems I've heard

I only did a 2.25 skyjacker BB on mine when I had it as far as lift went so I never had any problems but I have heard what you talking about.. With that said I have talk to people who are at 4in with no issues with the LP Front.. Idealy you do a HP D30 swap at some point but not nessasary IMO

things not to say to an xj owner..." your Cherokee is junk. You need a laredo grand Cherokee." this is the quote of a kid at my school. he has an older style Laredo grand Cherokee with a 6 inch lift and 35 inch km2. It's a nice rig. I have a 96 Cherokee sport with a 6.5 rc and 31 inch a/t's. we went trailing and I pulled him out 3 times. we went through the same holes. he's just as good of a driver as me. I won't Push my opinion on what one is better but dont tell someone there xj is junk when it can out trail there vehicle all day long

As for the jeep wave, I usually only wave to lifted or modded jeeps. If I waved to every jeep my arm would probably get tired!
That is true but I did tell him it was a '98. This guy really pissed me off, I went back to get more coolant because I'm running low after my radiator flush, and the same freaking guy was there and tried to charge me extra money for the coolant. He had the right brand but a different mixture that cost about 20+ bucks more than the one I picked up

I also overheard two stupid girls (not being sexist, I mean they are really freaking stupid) talking about me and a couple other XJ owners. We had about 6 parked in a row in my schools parking lot today, which was an honest coincidence. They said how guys are so retarded because they all have to park their Cherokees right next to each other to "show off their lifts and other dumb mods". No lie, my response was "It's a Jeep thing, you wouldn't understand". They then followed me to my car asking to explain......

Also not trying to be sexist but, you're right. Girls usually don't get the "Jeep thing". There's girls at my school who say stuff like "my 2011 Grand Cherokee will off road better than your old POS.", "Why did you lift it? It looks stupid.", "why do you always talk about your Jeep?", and my personal favorite; "why do you keep dumping money into it? Just buy a different one.". First off, there is no way a stock WK2 will out wheel my XJ. I'll tow her ***** out all day! I always talk about my Jeep just like girls always talk about shopping, stupid tv shows, and school drama. My XJ doesn't look stupid at all and the lift serves a purpose. Also, I spend money on my Jeep like girls spend money on makeup and clothes. So if I want to call them out on that, then they can't talk lmao . I'm pretty jealous of you man, at least you have like 6 XJ owners in your school. There are 3 XJs (including mine) out of the 400+ cars in my school parking lot. Two XJs are owned by girls, and they are stock. I'm the only lifted vehicle too lol.
