The LJ and the Scrambler are my two favorite wrangler type Jeeps. I like the linked rear on the LJ and TJ, my XJ will be getting a double triangulated 4 link the the next couple years, it'll be an expedition rig once I'm done with it. Then I'll have a beater XJ trail rig, and a mild XJ or MJ to DD

On topic, had a guy in a Beamer pull up next to me in traffic yesterday when I had my doors off. He gave the most puzzled look, then goes "is this your car?" (Wanted to deck him for calling my Jeep a car), and I replied with "yep", then he said "Why's it so dirty?" Because I actually use it *******

Heard a survey result on the radio a few years back that said that BMW and Mercedes drivers are viewed as the most arrogant, snobbish, and rude drivers on the road.

Wonder why...

"Why does your car smell so bad...?"
Lol... I reply with, "Mold -- it used to leak."
That's true, but what I really want to say is, "It smells better than a bus pass!"

Also, am I the only one who doesn't mind it being referred to as a car? Sometimes I call mine a car... Sometimes I call it a Jeep. All depends -- if it's around someone who hasn't seen it, I go with car... I don't want to hear the "if it's not a Wrangler it's not a Jeep" crud. =P
On a side note, that makes me want to lecture them on the history of the Jeep... MJ and CJ and so on. And the fact that the Cherokee's been around longer than the Wrangler...

Also, my cousin just got an '84 Bronco on 35s... With equal-length headers.
I drive a stock 2WD XJ... To compensate, I want to make louder than his. I probably won't, as I'll regret it later, but... I'm tempted.
I could just skip out on the muffler and get a high-flow cat when I put my header on. ;D

I have met some real cool BMW drivers, but have also met some total douche bags...

The most arrogant owner I ever remember is back from age 8ish. A Rolls Royce owner. He wasn't being rude or anything. A statement he made with a snotty sense of entitlement. Guess my parents just raised me differently...

Bimmer drivers really are the worst overall. In my experience, it doesn't matter if you're in America or Germany. Even one of my coworkers drives and acts completely different when he's in the BMW instead of the fuel efficient hooptie. He admits it and laughs about it, too.

Yeah I'll never own a BMW, I don't like them. If I ever get a foreign "performance" car, it'll be an Aston Martin or a Mercedes. Otherwise I'll stick to my 4x4's and muscle cars. I like heavy vehicles, drove my brother's 1971 Monte Carlo SS for a summer, you haven't had fun till you've thrown 4200lbs into a corner harder than you should lol

I'll never own one either, expensive junk. The ONLY credit i give bmw as a manufacture is the fact they still make an inline-six these days. But thats it.
Oh, and for the record the Beamer drivers from jersey, NY and CT seem to be the worst ones out there.

I had an interview at a bmw dealer as a tech last year. The general manager admitted that they have huge reliability issues but said it is because they are the most cutting edge and advanced cars out there. I just kind of chuckled. What is the point of being on the cutting edge if nothing you make works?

Still off topic, but my dad owned a 2005 BMW 545i sport series. Its was such a fun car to drive! He was gonna keep it when he got a wrangler but insurance was too much.

He wasnt an arrogant d bag on the road or anything. He loved his car for the performance factor. Didnt brag about it or anything.

I have owend three BMW 01 325i highly modified 04 m3 with some mods and currently a 92 525it they have some issue with breaking but havent found anything like them that gives the same feel. sure things are fast handle better better gas milage more comfortable but nothing is as close to the top in everything. I will say that BMW in the last 5-10 years has gone down in alot of areas. and most are ****** when they are driving myself included.

Had someone tell me that puting ford axle under my jeep makes it a bastard
