just happened, and the person was another xj owner, but not an enthusiast.

his hazards are on and he's pulled off the road during rush hour.

so i pull over to help him out, he says he has no idea whats wrong, so i offer all my services including towing him back to his house. and he turns to say, "do you think you can even pull it with that?"

So he assumes a jeep cant pull a jeep. So dyes he also assume a jeep cant pull anything then? Wtf. Does he not know jeeps are used like water on crops for wheeling/mudding?

After installing my new XRC bumper last night.

Mom: what's this recession in the bumper? Is that a for grilling? That's the new grill you were talking about right?

Me: *ugh* no that's a winch plate for my winch when it gets here.

Mom: ohhhhh! That's for when you break down at the track again you can pull yourself onto the trailer!

Me: *double ugh*

I get that one at work, even though the parking lot is gravel and dirt. Conversations goes...

Them: You need to wash that thing. Well, wait. Then you would probably see the damage.

Me: Ya, if it's clean I have to look at the scratches. I would rather look at mud.

I got it so much that I finally decided to do a full clean and holly crap, I remember when my jeep used to be stock and one of the cleanest jeeps I've ever seen, now there are dents and scratches and holes all over it will have mud back on her in 3 days

He said its cuz he lives in it and then

"Why is your jeep so dirty?"
Me: "because I drive through mud holes in it"
