Me: 1991 Jeep Cherokee (XJ)

Girl in econ: oh I'd that the one where you can take the top off???

Me::facepalm: no...you wouldn't understand...

 

I can NOT STAND when I tell people I have a jeep and they're like, "oh, a real jeep". This is me>>>>

 

Yea I can't stand when they say stuff like this! I'll say " this isn't real enought for ya" tell anyone with a 40,000 jeep to fallow me and well see what happens either they will back out like cowards are fallow me and regret it afterword!!! Ohhhh I don't wanna mess up my paint! Dude I'll mess up me 60 dollar paint job anyday to show you this Cherokee means business! They shut up!!!! Quick like!!!

 

My father-in law hates my Cherokee because it can go anywhere.....he always says: here comes the Station Wagon. I hate that he calls it that!

So now every time he gets stuck, I yell, time to breat out the "WRV"....Wrangler Recovery Vehicle! I think I'm going to put that on the back. It really fires him up!

 

over the last couple of weeks i've been looking at new cars for my mom. ever time i pull onto a car lot. the sales men always says "we probly cant give you more then $500 for the xj". i look at them and say, "when did i say anything about trading me jeep in".

all the guys at jeep dealer say. adding other one to the stable?

 

When people ask me what kind of jeep I have.....I tell them I own a cherokee and they're all like...."you own a GRAND cherokee than huh? I'm from Chicago. I guess Because They see more grand Cherokees on the street than xj Cherokees.

 

i had a guy ask me why would you do a 6.5 -7'' suspension lift when you could of done a 3 inch body lift and 3 inch suspension lift.

i told him to go look up how to do that and show me and he was like ok i will.

 

The other day at work I was talking to a guy, that acts like he knows everything about vehicles, about my jeep.

He asked me which v8 I have in it.

Me: I don't have a v8.

Him: you got to cause of the way the exhaust sounds.

Me: I have a inline 6.

Him: damn a v6 sounds like that?

Me: NO an INLINE 6.

Him: dodge never put a strait 6 in them.

I turned around and walked off shaking my head.

 

Well his last statement couldn't be more true.

 

I was thinking the same thing. He should have said as a come back "We'll that's god cause dodge never made jeeps."

 

Maybe I'm just a grouch, but this happens every time I go to McDonalds after I go wheeling.

Employee: "Did you go mudding?" "You got a little dirty!" "Looks like you had some fun."

Myself: I look out the window and glance at the side of the Jeep, "Oh, I must have hit a mud puddle. :/"

 

when you're driving someone around,
them: "whats that noise?"
Me: *turns up radio* "what noise?"

 

Lol yeah he was right but that doesn't happen very often. He's the type of person that you can talk to for only a few minutes before he becomes a now it all. He does know some stuff about vehicles but just enough to make him look like an idiot if he keeps on talking. Our conversation lasted for about 20 minutes and it had gotten to the point to were I had enough of him and I had to walk off.

 

Talking to my relative today:
Me: yea I have a jeep xj now.
Relative: ya got a picture of it?
Me: (shows him picture of it flexing on a rock)
Relative: what the hells wrong with the front end?!
Me: -.-...

father in law- how much did you give for it?
me- 3250
father in law- how many miles?
me- 248,000.
father in law- you'll never get that out of it (that's the grinder)
Now in 012
father in law- still got that jeep?
me- yeah rolling up on 425,000.
father in law- silence
me- guess I got my money back out of it huh?
father in law- silence..........
