I told my friend that i spend around 300 in gas a month and he said "why don't you get something practical like a 4 door civic".... Well, my xj is more practical for someone that has 2 kids and regularly grill on the road less travelled than a civic that barely seats four and limits us to asphalt!
From 2 different counter guys at 2 different JY on the same day. 1st guy after he gave me the printout of GCs in the junkyard "oh you meant the box style Cherokee". 2nd JY "oh you mean the baby Cherokee".

I stopped by Autozone and asked for a U joint for the front axle shaft. He then asked me if it was for a four or two wheel drive. I'm pretty sure the 2 wheel drive version does not need a U joint in the front axle.

When I worked at advance auto I called autozone and asked for a 1983 dolorean. He first asked who makes it. Then I asked for a flux capacitor.....10 mins I was on the phone listening to the key board and the kid whispering saying he can't find what I was looking for lol.
P.s this is a very true story lol

Buddy bags on the XJ saying it can't compete with his lifted Tundra. Well later on the trail his knuckle broke. Guess who had to pull his POS yota off the trail? The guy with the "useless Heep that can't compete with the big truck." He's since apologized and admits the XJ is a better trail rig by far

Had a friend tell me last night that he wouldn't buy a jeep cause "they break easy" and "their axles break easy". I flipped out and asked him where he was basing his information off of and he couldn't answer that. Then I proceeded to go through a mud pit and fling mud everywhere and then told him I didn't break an axle doing that
