"Nice Stationwagon" or this happened with my Blazer but I can be applied to XJ's ... when my wife was pregnant with my daughter I had to valet park my Blazer (lack of parking so Valet services were free) and on the valet tag they wrote "White Chevrolet Minivan" dunno why but that pissed me off for a while.

Three Points to make, please.
1. 12 Valve Cummins put out 160 Horsepower... 30 less than a 4.0, and in a MUCH heavier package.
2. SO you're comparing built Cumminses to stock 4.0's pushing big tires? Questionable.
3. My 4.0 Hauls ***** when I get on it. Maybe it's not that we've never come against a good running Cummins, but that you've never come against a good running 4.0.
As an additional side note, I should mention that 2.3 = Ford. The Four Banger that Jeeps have are 2.5's.

I've been around more fast 4.0s than you can imagine. From fast stockers to 400hp 4.9 strokers. We've dominated mud drags for the past 5 years. Does that mean they're fast on the street? haha. Hell no. You need to take yourself a ride in something fast if you think these things "haul *****". I'm not saying Cummins are the greatest fastest thing ever, just putting a **** talker in their place.2.3 2.5 same thing it's a 4 cyl nobody cares.
