Chinese made snorkel for XJ's (Safari Copy)

http://telawei.en.made-in-china.com/product/FoBJDRejhArQ/China-Snorkel-Jeep-Cherokee-XJ-.html

I'm thinking that for the price, (I have been quoted US$30.00) these aren't a bad buy.

Anyone else had one of these installed?? Thorts??

I am also interested. $30 not to bad. Only downside is shipping is by sea or air and we all know that that would be a fortune. I just sent them a email to get a rough price on shipping

Wow $30. Keep us updated on the shipping cost. It might be worth it.

Heck yeah. But the big question is, is it legit. Im kinda skeptic. If it seems to be to good to be true then it usually is.

Someone here has to have the $30 to **** away. And, hell, it may work out for that person, and that $30 may be well worth it.

For $30 it must be missing some hardware or something? We won't know til the OP gets this and installs!

Very true. Lets just hope he doesnt pay $30 and they send him a picture or something. That would kinda suck.

$30 for the snorkel and probably something like $800 for the shipping and handling. Keep us posted.

I ordered one 2 days ago!!

I'll let you know how it looks and works, and I'll be sure to take tons of pictures.

Shipping was $80. My estimated delivery time is the first week of December.

Edit - Correction -

I ordered one of these

Regarding shipping costs.......... A friend told me about this site, and he is very keen to get one, however the freight cost are high (don't know how much). He has ordered 5 snorkel kits, and will sell the three spare ones to other XJ owners here in NZ. He should re-coup freight costs by selling the others.

My only concern was with the quality of the kit........ The picture that is on the Chinese site is a ripoff from the Safari site. I was concerned with stuff like, metal inserts in the snorkel for mounting. My friend has spoken to a spokesman for the snorkel in China, and states that there are aluminium inserts in the molded snorkel.

I think for the price, this is a great deal. I'm definitely getting one !!!

To buy a genuine Safari Snorkel ex Australia (with water bottle), I would be paying close to NZ$700.(US$550.00 )

************* CORRECTION**********
************* CORRECTION*************
************* CORRECTION**************

Just got off the blower to the guy who is buying the snorkels.

Dunno where he got $30.00USD for the price from, BUT he has ordered 5, and will land them in NZ for approx $150NZD each ($119USD) - That is still a demon deal in my book!!!
