Default Tank sealing

Since I'm replacing my rusted out rockers with 2x6 tubing, I thought might as well turn them into air tanks so that I won't have a tank taking up space inside the jeep. But now that I got it all welded up and capped and fittings welded in it, it doesn't seal worth a damn, I think I've heard of stuff u put inside the tank and move it around to evenly coat the inside to seal it properly, maybe use an epoxy on the outside or something.... Suggestions anyone?

Where isn't it sealing?

You should be able to get a seal with just welding.

Find the hole, then put a bead down?

it leaks anywhere there is a pin hole on the welds on the caps and fitting, and i even had my dad try but its no use, it would take hours to do every spot, so why not use something else thats quicker and simpler...

There is a sealant more common in motorcycle gas tanks that seals the inside. When I get to a computer I will send you a link

He is turning his rocker panel into a rock slider/air tank combo so he can have air to fill tires or...well...anything you can use compressed air for.

Now that I think about it, you would probably want to do some sort of seal anyway. I'm sure moisture will get in and cause corrosion.
