so i went to check it out. ive never seen such a death trap. the welds are some of the worse ive seen. i was not able to get pix of everything because i was short on time. but wow, i cant imagine what would happen if this were to be taken on the freeway.
the idea of this was cool but done so poorly. it has axles from a k5
the owner told me all it needed was for all the welds to be grinded down and re welded and for a motor tranny and t case to be put in it. had all the motor mounts cut off because he was going to put a 350 in it.
just look at this lol, those LCAs are loose as can be, and are off of some car he found in the junk yard, hence their anti-beefiness lol.
those coil buckets need massive bracing too. im not sure about those upper control arms sticking out further than the lowers either. geometry was way weird.
all of this for beeautiful work 2k!! thats a steal! no tires or rims? even better!!
the interior was nice, so its got that going for it

Looks like he used two chevy 10 bolts which aint even worth swapping. The links are why under sized and everything he welded on will fail soon. But thats not the worse thing i have seen yet.Seen a few mini trucks they made their on step notches from scrap metal.Or the best one was a 70s impala donk they welded scrap metal on to a cast iron spindle as a ball joint lift. It's a sad world when i need a license to hunt or fish but any yahoo can try to be a welder and do jankey stuff like that and drive it on the road with the rest of us.

All that thing is worth is scrap price and then only if it had tires of some kind to get it onto a trailer to haul to the scrap yard.
I would have ashamed to put it up for sale........Hope some kid doesn't come along and buy that POS thinking its OK.

he wants 2100 for something with no motor, tranny, or Tcase, on top of everything suspension wise has been completely cut apart and frankensteined and then welded crudely back into place? this guy is either an idiot or knows nothing about mechanics.
he needs to be put down old yeller style!

I wonder if we could talk him into doing a build thread on it? I'd love to watch this guy cobble together a V8 swap in this POS. Every day there'd be another "check out what I ****ed up today post" with photos. This could literally be months of entertainment.
he tried putting a 350 with a 4 speed granny low, but the shifter did not clear the dash. He had the bottom of the dash all cut up where he tried to make it work but then gave up lol

I don't know what would give up first his jankey welds or those stock 10 bolts.Stuff like that is why i believe you should have to pass a welding test before you can own a welder.
