Question tail light problem plz help!

help! when i step on the brake my running lights turn on any one have any idea why? i cant figure it out

the wrong wires are probably touching somewhere... that's going to be a little tricky... Do ALL your running lights turn on? the from blinkers and all?

Had you done any replacements/rework on anything before you noticed this condition? If yes then go back and undo the last rework then retest before restoring because you may find that you made a mistake. If no then remove/replace your tail lamp bulbs (including brake lamps). Inspect, clean and apply dielectric grease in the bulb sockets during replacement.

Do the turn signals work?

If not, do your hazards?

If not its not a grounded or crossed wire, its wither the fuse or relay.

The ground side of the brake light is back feeding through the tail light bulb, or you have a cross shorted bulb. Inspect the bulbs and check the grounds at each taillamp.

when i step on my brake the front and back running lights come on and my turn signals still work and i havent touched any of the lights there all stock. thats why i dont know whats wrong

I still think you got some crossed wires. The insulation on some wires probably wore off and are now touching...
