Default Tail Light Guards - Why Are They So Hard to Find?

It seems like one of you fab guys could make a ton of money if you started making XJ Tail Light Guards, something like these:

Every time a thread pops up about a used pair being for sale, it's filled with people begging for them.

Why are these so hard to find it there seems to be a market for them?

Are they that hard to make?

Are they for sale somewhere online and I'm just completely overlooking them?

They have a problem with ripping off. Great for at the mall, bad on the trails.

Tail lights boxes > tail light guards

Except that has nothing to do with demand. I've seen tons, and tons of people on here looking for them. There's definitely a market.

Plus what kind of trails are you going down? I've never seen a branch tear off a piece of metal. Are you driving through a forest of hooks?

Dude it happens, you get caught on one rock trying to squeeze through something and a lil piece of metal isnt much compared to 180 horses.

I guess I don't typically see people rubbing up against rocks as high as their tail lights.

You obviously don't wheel as hard as other people. (not a burn, just the way it is)

Nah, I don't rub my tail lights up against rocks, and I don't smoke cigarettes and I don't wear gold chains while I do burnouts in my '87 Camaro. Guess I'm not a real man.

Now that that's over with. Tail light guards. It'd be cool if some were available.

We wheel v-notches through the hills that push you off camber into roots, rocks, fallen limbs, and whatever else is in the ground. You basically spend a good chunk of time dragging your sides on Mother Earth. definitely not a leisurely day on the trail bird watching.
