What's the difference? I noticed that the oil I use is the blend but there's also full. I'm just curious as to what they mean

A blend is a mix of conventional and synthetic.

I run 10w30 Full Synthetic Highmilage in both of my Jeeps

Full Synthetic is more expensive but lasts longer.

Full synthetic is all synthetic, and costs more but lasts longer.
Blended is some synthetic, some conventional.
All blends are not 50-50... Be careful.

I run Quaker State Defy, it's blended -- 50% or more synthetic, and high in zinc. Reasonably priced, too.
My Jeep seems to like it.

There are no easy answers on this topic. A "blend" could be 5% synthetic, or 50% synthetic, or whatever. Also, what is meant by synthetic? Used to mean Group IV (PAO) or Group V (ester) basestocks. Now, many "synthetics" are a Group III base, which is simply a very highly refined conventional (dino) oil. Does this make it bad? No, some of these perform quite well. So, a synthetic may be Group III, IV, V, or a blend of any/all of these. You also need to remember that the basestock is only part of the picture; the additive package has just as much or sometimes even more effect on how well the finished product will perform.
