Why do you have pioneers? You could do much better

The LEDs are hooked to my amp. I only have one strip on there now though. They blinded me at night haha. And I'm happy with the pioneers. My buddy has 2 12" kicker comps and mine sound better and hit harder. Even he agrees

The pioneers (1300 watts each) are hooked to an older Kenwood amp (2500 watts) and are in a vented Kicker box so that kinda makes em sound better

Hooked the hot wire from the lights to the power wire on the amp and put the ground wire on the ground wire on the amp

Not to insult you but i heard that was a bad idea because the voltage leaving the amp is greater than what the L.E.D's can handle so they will be brihgt for a while and then dim down. But hey if it works i'll try it when i get home

So you hooked them up to the amp and not the sub?
