I am planning on buying a custom sub box from a member here and it just goes over the existing cubby hole and panel in the trunk. My question is how to I mount it? Do I just screw it in, epoxy? It's going to be a 10" sub

I have a flowmaster 44 so I know mines pretty loud too, Now I just have to decide if I should leave it as it will be or get some expanding foam spray. I don't know if I'll need that though I've heard that it can be messy

you don't think that this would be good for it or worth it? I feel like it might make it more solid when the bass kicks

Expanding foam doesn't seem like a good idea to seal off a sub box to you? i was thinking of spraying it on the plastic and then bolt down the box so it seals it up really good

Oh no, I'm going with self-tapping screws to bolt it to the panels but want to spray that dap latex foam sealant to seal it off and make it sound better, it's supposedly much better than average expanding foam for clean ups and applying

What about that spray rubber? Its $13 for a fairly big can, and the rubber should absorb vibrations at the joints helping to keep your box around longer.

I'm also trying to make as minimal impact on the existing panels just in case I ever need to take out the sub box, that is why I am going with the latex foam over the average foam since it only takes water and soap to remove cleanly with little after mark
