Default stupid question

So im going to be going to get a new engine thats four hours away...at this point I think im going to have to transport it with my xj. Will it fit in the back or no? How is the best way to transport it? I can take a trailer if need be. The engine is complete. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I would take the trailer, a used tire or two if you have them and sit the motor on the tire/s and strap it down. Putting it in the back of the XJ would a pain if you ask me.

Definitely trailer it. You might get it to fit in the back, but how would you get it in/out?

By all means a trailer, if for no other reason than keeping it clean in the rear and that's the very least of them.

I'd trailer it, if not then try and place the engine as close behind you as possible to help spread the weight as they are heavy *****

Try To get a hold of a trailer. Or rent a u haul or Home Depot truck. Keep the jeep happy. It's not worth transporting the engine. Jeep may not like it

You're jeep thanks you. Plus it'll be easier to use a huge tree or engine lift to get the engine around and not *** your jeep in the process to a great choice
