Well did go tonight. Figured we would do some "light" wheeling because we can't afford to break our jeeps because they are dd's. My jeep only has one rear tow point and my friends has the axles because his hitch was completely ripped off. So drove around place was really muddy. I have bfg at's and they fill up with mud and turn into slicks real fast. So decided to go through a little ditch that my jeep stock made it through easy. Went in the middle like usual then some witchcraft pulled me to the left as my tires were struggling for grip. The evil magic won and was forced to slide into a little tree and had a little tree in front of me. Too big of a tree to ram down though. Put it in reverse since couldn't go straight because of the tree. Rocked back and forth but wasn't going anywhere. No traction. Had a friend just give me a little push on the front end while rocking back and forth and made it up the ditch. Then decided to do it again to redeem myself. Nope. Slid from the right side all the way back over to my ruts in the left side. Then just decided to have my friend pull me out cuz the angle I was at I couldn't go anywhere. It was also dark so couldn't take any good pics. And that was the first time ive ever been stuck but good experience though. And had fun
My buddy's YJ. We thought it would be a good idea to play in his mud drag lanes in the pouring rain. The ruts get deep fast with a never ending supply of water and 38x11 boggers powered by a sbc. Doesn't look that stuck but the diffs were hung up bad and as soon as you stop moving with boggers they only dig deeper. Of course we only had a short chain and I couldn't get close enough so we had to hook up the dozer.

F-250 was completely stuck, I pulled him out. Story is my friend went first with his XJ and made it through (took him a bit). Then I went for it, but got stuck, so that F-250 pulled me out, because the other XJ couldn't get enough traction. Finally the F250 tried it and he got stuck, so the only one that could pull him out was me.

That guy knew that he was gonna get stuck and went for it anyways. (bald MTR's)

This guy pulled him out after 30 minutes of him trying to get out with a chain block.

I wish I had pictures, but last winter me and my ladylady were in upstate NY and we were going to sit and watch the sun set (aren't we fraking adorable). So I found a small parking lot near a closed marina with what seemed like maybe 3" of snow (it barely came to my boot laces)... however I soon found out the parking lot wasn't completely paved and there were deep spots.
so I drive straight into one of these deep spots and suddenly all four wheels sink and start spinning. I tried throwing sand and rocks and wood under the tires but I was hung up on the diff...
$150 later we were freed by a grumpy tow truck guy.

one of the neighbor kids decided that he wanted to go "off roading" in his yard while his parents were on vacation in a 2wd stock bald tire S-10.

I'll bite.
Did this last Sunday. We were on a 50 mile ride, all of which was somewhat boring gravel roads through the middle of the Everglades. I kept seeing small areas of an inch or two of water with the grass still visibly sticking out. So, I decided the next one I saw, I was going to blast through, and tidal wave the TJ's in front of me.
Only the one I chose wasn't what I was expecting -

I went in 2wd, and had to have the Jeep behind me winch me out, since the motor shut down after half a minute of idling under water. I was deeper, but I could only reverse this far until the motor died. Learned my lesson, sort of.
Not really.
