Default stripped torx head on door hinge.

I'm trying to remove my doors and I got all the torx bolts out and replaced with hex, except for the last one.

Any idea how to get it out. I tried welding a nut to it but no luck, its at such an angle that I can't get the weld inside the nut. Can't drill it out cus of the angle either. I've tried other heads too but no luck. Not sure if I should go get a dremel.

If it were me i'd break it off and drill it out and put in stainless and you should be good to go but thats just my opinion. Put a Vise grip on it as tight as you can. and break it off

i cant get a vise grip to it though because of the hinge in the way and the other bolts. i guess i could try to remove the other 2 bolts and try the vice grips. i dont care what happens to that bolt, even if i cant use it again. i think my doors will be fine with just 5 bolts instead of 6, at least i hope so if thats what ends up happening.

I had the same problem. I used a a dewalt grinder with a 4 inch cutting wheel blade while someone pulled slightly on the door and just cut the head off. Than I just drilled out the rest of the bolt after the door was off.

you were able to get a 4" grinder in there? guess i can prop my door open the whole way and put something in the way to keep the door out all the way and give the grinder a shot.

Had the same problem before. Dremel a slot into the head. Big enough to get a large flat head screw driver in there to turn it. You'll need either a stubby or one for a ratchet.
