Well I my Jeep had the offroad package from the factory Are they rare?.... I happen to look under it today and they are missing? any clue Why someone would want them?? I am just having one of those days.... anyoone have some laying around

um... It has been in the family since 1993 they were there 2 weeks ago... so I know they were there

I don't see how someone could steal a gas tank skid that easy....unless they cut it off. Those bolts are ridiculously hard to get out, especially for any XJ that has seen salty roads. It took me 2 hours to pull one from a jy here in Texas!!!
my guess is it went into the shop early in its life and one of the guys took them off then never put them back on. Happened to a friend of mine with a full set of armor skids on his Nissan guy was just lazy and left them laying on the side of the shop

The skids that are missing are the front one that goes under engine in the front transfer case and was a bar under the trans mission is that a Trans skid plate?.... ugh
