Default Steering stabilizer kit

Does anyone know if u can put a second steering stabilizer on an xj, like u can for the tj. I can get a replacement one but I want a steering stabilizer kit with brackets to mount another. Thanks

Why do you want two steering stabilizers? If everything is perfectly aligned in the front end you don't really even need one.

I have seen a kit for the TJ that gives u brackets to mount another steering stabilizer. Skyjacker makes it for the tj. My dad has one. I thought that someone might make it for the xj.

Rough country makes one, my buddy just ordered one. Other companies probably do as well, but I dont know who. His should be installed by this weekend.

theres really no point to running 2 stablilizers unless ur running 38s+ but if ur looking for one, rough country just came out with a new setup for the xj looks pretty good

I might do it too, my stabilizer is just barely strong enough to where when it gets bumpy enough i get DW. I used to get DW terrible at only 30mph and now I still get it just not as much. Im only on 31's but i see your point

It's overkill and not needed on a Jeep...if you need it, you have other issues you need to address.

I'm sorry to say, but with an aftermarket tie rod set up you don't have to run steering stabilizer at all. I know cus my friend does this on his ZJ. That being said if your thinking 2 stabilizers will stop Death wobble your mistaken. All it will do is make the death wobble less severe but it will still be there. Check everything else out before hand. I've ran the xj tie rods and now running the zj tie rods and I ran both without any stabilizers and had no death wobble. Good tie rod ends and an even better track bar will eliminate Death wobble (Which is usually the main cause in the first place from worn joints). Also, check your shocks and see if they are properly bolted and tight along with your control arms.

Address what's wrong before putting a band aid on a problem
