Default Stage 2 clutch

My clutch isnt fully disengaging often and with around 92k on that clutch and me not being so nice to her on and off road i think i might as well get a jump start on it, and seeing how she'll be a DD and trail rig i kinda want a stage 2 clutch to be more on the performance side of things, i know for a fact i can get a OE "Perfection" brand clutch at the advance auto i work at for around $150 or so. So if i can get a complete stage 2 clutch for less then $250 i'll go with that...
What im asking for it opinions on different brands and site and etc. that offer a performance clutch for our AX-15.
Thanks in advance

I don't often hear folks talking about the need for a better than stock clutch.

Do Centerforce or ACT make clutches for the XJ 4.0? Those are two brands I'm most familiar with. I had an ACT2600 in my AWD Eclipse. My dad has a Centerforce in his 68 Camaro with a 489 spinning it.

I personally do not see the need for a high performance clutch for off road. If your geared correctly it makes no diff IMHO.
When I did the AX15 swap I used a clutch from AZ and it works just fine and I've never smoked it.

Learn to drive a manual then. Should be no need for a performance clutch in an xj if it's a dd or trail rig

Centerforce dual friction all the way. Holds awsome and pedal pressure is same as stock, i pretty much swear by them. but yes the 100 dollar local parts house crap works fine to. Make sure that you resurface or even better replace the flywheel, cuz the best clutch in the word is **** if the flywheel surface is crap.

FWIW, and yes its a different application....but my F150 with the 4.9l straight 6 made its 215k miles on its original clutch. I wasnt the first owner of the truck, but i know very well every person who owned it, and i was the first to touch the clutch.

But at about 100k its probably time.

My s10 made it 240,000 til needed the clutch replaced. My sisters went 270,000 finally went dead. My current xj made it 200,000 before it needed one. So 92,000 isn't long when for double the life another xj and other manuals

I got my XJ 92k ago, it has 193k now, i dont know if it had the clutch done before or not, im just assuming it was done when the PO did the upper engine rebuild, becasue it looked like it had been done. who knows maybe it is original?

Other then the rocker being rotted and the drivers door starting cancer, all sorts of front suspension components had been replaced recently it was in immaculate condition, an older gentleman owned it before me.
