No i had always planned on never lifting up more than 3", just for the reason wanted to keep the stock wheels so 31x10 was all i was ever going to go. Now i might go 4.5 and spend the extra money to get those bigger tires later on. And i thought i had my mind made up.

That's the jeep bug "infection" getting worse. There are no limits or set-plans when it comes to the jeep bug. Once you are bit, it never stops growing.....

I'm running 33/12.5 on stock wheels, have been for a year with no issues. It does rub on the control arms at full lock but other than that they tuck nicely and I love my factory JEEP wheels.

I think he might have been talking about backspacing. A 33x12.5 will give you hell on a stock backspaced 15x8.
