well i put in the new speakers to day i looked at the wires and thay looked really beffe i got a band new kenwook deck and 4 5-1/4 kenwook speakers i spent 400$ and put it all in my self

 

I have 6.5" speakers in my front doors and 6x9's in the hatch. The 6x9's in the hatch is super easy to do if you have a fiberglass hatch. I think Xj's had fiberglass hatches until '95 or '96. All you have to do is cut the holes in the interior panel and trim the fiberglass in the hatch until your speakers clear and the interior panel can sit flush.
