In my 2000, 5.25 barely fit the existing screw holes in the front and back. 6.5's fit like a glove. I am running Pioneer 6.5 3 or 4 ways. Cant remember. They are great and were only $60 for the pair.

Id Look on Craigslist for either 2 10" subs or 2 12" subs add some 4x6 speakers in the door if its like my 93 jeep and maybe some littler ones below the dash kinda and you will have a kickin sound system, u would need an amp to!

Ive got 2 kicker 5.25 in the doors. They were probably 70$ or something my dad had them installed when they were still his car. He also had 2 polk 6x9 put in the back of the jeep. when i got the jeep i got four 10" orion xtr series 2 subs (500rms each) from one of my dad's friends at work who was pretty much giving them away. (i got them all with a box for 25$ they were his sons but he moved off to college and they were just taking up space in his garage) then i got a used alphasonik amp from one of my friends for 200$. New it was like 800$ so it was a pretty good deal.
