Not sure yet. Only saw it for a little bit. I'll see after school let's out.

best way to learn these is for a club to hold a 101 course. problem is it would be local clubs/groups to hold these at a location center to their geographical area.

we have one here coming up next month here in Ontario, Canada. the winch technique is being taught by an experienced trainer who happens to own the Titan Winch company/Everlast Welders. it is being held in the mecca of our off roading wonderland, mid-northern ontario.

what axle did they wrap the strap around?
if it was the front, then yeah, most likely bent the tie rod. that and mud packed up in the wheels.

check your control arm brackets too.

Ive pulled em backwards before and bend the tie rod just from mud getting jammed up in there. Also pulled a wheel clean off doing that .

So, the shaking is coming from the rear axle left side. It starts around 35mph and gets worse and worse at 55 and after. Friend driving behind me thought I was going to rip apart on the road

Thats what happens when your buddy's jerk on your jeep with a chain and your not around. I'd say the hooked up the chain on that side of the axle. Measure and see if your axle is even in there straight anymore. Could be broken u bolt, bent axle, and so on.

As stated earlier did you clean all the mud from the wheels and brakes. i used to race bogs and then try to drive home and it would shake to hell and back till i cleaned it out.

Like he said.

But seriously I hate hearing about people going wheelin with our points. Like a friend of mine comes and he doesn't have any points but he at least watches where he goes and doesnt do anything he isn't capable of. I saw someone rip a whole axle out of a f150. Driveshaft and all. Just by pulling by the axle. And people with frames are just like I can rap it around my frame. Until it bends the frame when your trying to pull out a stuck ranger. I wish people especially aroun here where everything is mud would spend the little money to get tow hooks or a hitch. And recovery straps.if you don't have the right equipment don't risk your life or others. No offense to op. gotta start somewhere.

Yes, a hitch is a cheap and great place to pull from! Well, better than the axle housing.

Well, I sold some things I had layin around that I wasn't ever going to need for scrap, but none of that was in the front yard. Then i also sold 2 jeeps, a 86 renegade and another 76 cj7, and they haven't been back. I also sold this wrangler, but it always lived in the garage. Off topic sorry.lol.
