And then gave it back about a hour later.. Turns out it was the tire fairy, it took my money and gave me some new rubbers!

Shiny, black, street tires to dull, black, street/mild offroad tires. Hmmmm, me thinks the tire fairy should've gone for a more aggressive All Terrain. But hey, to each their own.
Also, take it to a shop and get rid of the crappy wheel weights that are on there. Have them tack weights to the inside of the rim. That way, if you go off road and hit a rock or something , that weight doesn't get knocked off and result in an unbalanced tire.

all we are saying is that you should have asked what tires to get on here, before getting them.
