so the one im looking at is a WJ any idea on what it may be worth?

I wouldn't pay more than $3000 if it is mint. $2500 would be better. What's he asking?

thank you i will find out,

i test drove it the other day and when i stopped i noticed it was leaking what looked like water, the guy said somthing about the AC but i didnt believe him ive never seen a AC leak like that although it was in the general region.

he was asking a ridiculous amount but has now put it at best offer i was gonna offer 4 since the parts that i could identify were worth more then 2000, but now i have to look into the head thing.

Yeah adding aftermarket parts do not add anything to a book value.The only aftermarket thing i seen add anything was a spray in bedliner on a pickup added 50 bucks to the trade in.

can you post how to check which head is on it?

i was having trouble finding it.

Cylinder head and look at post 12 http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f11/t...1-head-977498/ you just open the oil cap on the valve cover and look inside it,If you see the word TUPY its been replaced with the upgraded head,If the words not there its the factory head that can crack.

Having a shop replace a cylinder head 1500 to 2 grand easy its a big job.
