I heard there were only certain plows that you can put on a Jeep Cherokee. What plows will mount to my Jeep Cherokee? Best Plow? Also, how hard is the install on something like this? Links/Pictures are helpful. Any help appreciated!

Dont do it. Look up some research on the unibody.I learned the hard way in the past.like everyone else is saying go with a beater 4x4 .Id hate to see your xj get mangled from plowing.
I have seen a few 1/2 ton pickups using a plow bent or even broke the frame on over time.If its for your driveway get a snow blower or if you have a riding lawn mower or atv they make plows for them.
Last year I bought an 89 2 door XJ that had a 78" Western plow on it. Technically quite a bit too massive for a 3100 lbs vehicle but I mention this for the following:
The plow was installed in the mid 90's
The owner had a 400+ foot driveway up a 40+ foot grade from the road
It wasn't really a driveway but a path beaten thru woods over rocks and boulders with some pretty nice scars on them.
Around 2004 the son came of age, inherited the vehicle, lifted it and used it off road in addition to plowing duties.
Any notion of a light foot on the skinny peddle went the way of the dodo bird at this point
When I got the vehicle the transfer case was blown likely from the sons heavy foot plowing and the father told me he had just had the transmission rebuilt before transfer case went. Also likely from same heavy foot.
Bottom line: The body is straight and true and showed no ill effects from the years. These bodies must be a lot stronger than expected. I intend to keep the plow.
Thanks for all your input guys. I have actually heard a lot of good things about plows on Cherokees. Just the other day I ran into a older guy at the store who had the plow mount on his cherokee and he said it's the best vehicle he's ever plowed with. My jeep is basically a beater already so putting a plow on it isn't a big deal to me. I just have to find a plow mount for my cherokee before winter!
Beater Jeeps or ones almost not road worthy are the only jeeps Ive
seen with plows on up here in Alaska. The few good looking jeeps I've seen with
plows have those extra light ones like in the pic. Just make sure you don't
bump any curbs to hard and take it easy you will be fine. My friend has his plow on a beater xj
and has been plowing for years on his back woods property.
Good luck
