Typical 350lb capacity zipline uses 1/4" cable..... so I guess it is possible...

You planning on using your winch for a zipline?

thats not a bad idea.... find a pond that has a drop off to park your jeep on, let out your winch and hook it to a tree or something on the other side and atatch something to slide down it...

Most zipline rigs I've seen either bolt to the line or require them to be put on before the end is secured.

If you do make sure you get the right pulley size for your cable...

I just sold a 92' 5/16 cable that came with my new XRC8000 winch to a guy who was intending to use it for a zipline.

Hah well there's a train trussel over the creek we swim in and it's plenty deep enough we jump from te bridge I was thinking run the cable to the underside of the trussel and there's a trail that runs along the water about twenty feet or so up hill if you see where I'm going with this haha all I need to figure out is te handle I was thinking ****** block with a big hunk of rope and a couple knots in it, input ??

If the vehicle will be the low point, Make sure you tie rope at the end so the ****** block doesn't smash into your winch.
