I work in the logging industy (so i'm not a tree hugger) and damaging the bark does do a lot more damage to the timber than most people think.

Nice rig, But I'm kinda one of those guys who treads lightly. Only cuz guys like you drive up trees and get the rest of us kicked off the trails. I know it looks cool but find some rocks they don't die!!

I don't want anybody thinking I do that a lot. It was the first time I ever did that. Just wanted to see how it reacted to going that vertical with the Articulation. sorry if I affended anyone...Its a rock rig, not a tree climber! Plus this was on Private Property, I would never do that in a Park....I agree, treading lightly is much prefered! Again, sorry if I offended anyone!

Posting pics like these gives those that would like to see our trails closed more ammo. Sometimes we're own worst enemy.

Please delete those pics and put up something that paints you (and all of us) in a better light.

Thanks.

I have to say if you look at the rocks ware, that looks to be a established trail.

Remember ever place has different rules..

Such big trees don't even bend under the weight of the jeep, the problem is when you drive over the small ones and the baby trees destroying them.

Your attitude about this subject is callus and as a mod you really should hold yourself to a higher standard with regards to your posts here.

What you do on your own property is your own business, but when people do this stuff on the trail it makes all of us look bad. If you haven't noticed, we're continually losing areas that were once open to our choosen hobby. Do you seriously believe that the tree huggers will post your pic on their anti-4x4 sites with a caption that clearly states you were on private property?
