I have a Thrush glasspack on my '91 XJ and I like it just fine. I saw an mpg improvement over the stock muffler. Mine was $20 at Auto Zone but free is better.

I forgot to say that mine is actually much quieter than I thought it'd be.

Guy at work is offering to give me a free glass pack. He bought it and never used it. I haven't taken it because I'm afraid of what it will sound like on the 4.0L.

Thrush turbo is a good muffler, but it is pretty quiet.

I like glasspacks, but they sound real tinty when the glass finally blows out.

I recently got a Cherry Bomb Extreme muffler & really like how it sounds along with the stock cat.

i have just a magnaflow cat with nothing behind it.

its loud and annoying.

i like the sound of the dynomax i have on the other jeep.

its more of a low tone and does sound a little weak on acceleration but id rather have that then just a cat like i do now.

does anyone think a glass pack would make it quieter or just better sounding at least then just the cat, because honestly i hate how it sound right now. especially with stock gears on 33s

I run a Magnaflow glasspack, granted it's on a 2.8L.

It's a heck of a lot better than my old muffler that had taken one too many shots.

Oh haha I did go with the glasspack. It's not too bad but I think it's getting better as I used it. Drones around 2k though
