Looks like he has a 91 dont believe abs was around yet, probably wont be an issue if thats the case.

My brother's 90 "had" ABS. It's been around for a while.

My xj has abs and the dummy light is on. I can always pull the bulb. Can I make the c8.25 abs or no?

Maybe on a stock height rig, but with mine, I kept the d35 shaft when I did the 8.8 swap simply because it had the better joints between it and the one from my parts rig. I honestly feel like even it is to short at 3" of lift (granted my block lift is slightly different in where the axle gets placed than a spring lift). I only have about 1-1.5" of spline engagement

Nope. If you got the 8.25 route you must remove or disable the rest of the ABS components.

Alrighty. Does that include removing the brake control module under the rear seat? Thanks a lot salad, you've been a wealth of knowledge. I've replaced brakes and rear ends before, but with identical replacements. So this will be a great learning experience.

Nooo clue. I'm happily ABS-free. Modules under seats sounds like the airbag module to me. Good luck though.
