Yes, ****** those up in a heartbeat. You will need to regear to 4.56 for 33" tires anyway. Just make sure they were regeared by a shop professionally. Depending on where you live it will cost $550 just to regear one axle.

Honestly, I would not get them unless you are sure you are getting an XJ... I almost did somewhat of the somewhat of the same thing and ended up with a WJ...JMO

dana 30...sure 4.56 gears sounds great, but for 500 bux, that rear better have a locker of some sort cause a 30's not worth chit.

maybe if the 30 had alloy shafts....

you could score a 44hp and 9" for less.

But the re-gear alone on the front would cost $550. You are getting them for $275 an axle. If you were to get a different set it would be the cost of the axles, plus the cost of the regear($600+per axle). Makes sense to me to buy them as long as you plan on staying with 33"s and not going bigger.

Not everybody can do a regear the first time and trust it as their DD. The gears are the cheap part, the labor is what kills you.

dont worry about running 33s with thoes axles, youll be fine. i have 33s on my d35 zj with 3.73 and no problems what-so-ever. i have 4.56 in my xj with 33s and it cruises with low rpms on the highway and can beat any ricer off the line. thoes axles are really nto badly priced. i completely destroyed my d30 in my zj and the lowest price for a used one was $300 front the junkyard. so if their still availible, id grab them then buy the xj later. then you can buy a cheaper one with a d35 in it and upgrade if you like, althoguht the d35 isnt as bad as everyone makes it out to be.
