Diconnecting stock sway bar
I know this probably wont be an issue but i just want to make sure.
i have a 4.5" lift with 32's and plan on going off roading to see how much flex i can get. i dont have quick disco's for the sway bar and was wondering if it would cause future problems if i just unbolted it from the axle and reconnected it when i am done.
this is probably a stupid question but this is my DD and i will need it the next day.
thanks

Of course you can, that's the system i use. The quick discos tend to wear out and rattle, i unbolted the lower nut (where the bushing is) and drilled a hole through the bolt to put a safety pin with a big washer. You just need to take a little hammer with you to take the link out when you disconnect.
Important: check your brake lines extention in max flex, you may need to relocate them or put on some longer.

yeah x2 on the brake lines. if you still have the stock mounted brake lines with 4", then they will max out pretty quick. its easy to just drop the mount on the frame though.
