Default short arm vs. long arm?

hey guys, this is a two part question. i got a 98" XJ limited. planing on going for a 6.5" kit from rustys. they make a short arm kit as well as a long arm. does anyone here have a short arm kit in their XJ? if so i wanna hear from you, does it ride well? offroad flex? highway ride? all these questions i ask all the time. i also want to hear from you long arm guys too. ok, second question, now with all that lift im going to need a cv style driveshaft. im not sure wether to go with a RE hack N tap OR AA sye kit.. OH ALSO I FORGOT TO MENTION, BUDGET IS CRUSIAL FOR ME.. im open to all suggestions. THANKS...

i run a porc sye, but as far as i can tell it's just a repackaged advance adapters sye. all the hd sye's are basically the same.
