I'm shopping for another 4x4/AWD vehicle for the misses. Currently she's driving a 97 Subaru Legacy, which got hit while parked in our driveway. Anyways... She enjoys the Subaru, and would like to possibly get another. She doesn't want an SUV/Truck of any sort. At the moment, I'm just looking for a reliable AWD sedan-type. Currently the budget is $2000. Any tips on good old fashion dependability?

I'm asking on these forums because we all drive XJ's. Thus, we know what's good and what's not. So far, I'm eye another Subaru. Any other suggestions on good year/makes/and models for another?
