Default shocks

im looking for shocks to go with my 3" lift on my jeep because the stock shocks are maxed out and i was wondering if its ok to ride 2 different brands for the front and back? i wanted to get pro comp ES9000 for the rear and i wanted skyjacker hydro shocks for the front. im just looking for something to give me max. flex for my 3" lift that i have on im open to any suggestions too if there within my budget im not going to spend 400$ for shocks but im not going to puss out and buy cheap stuff either.

You can do it. But why go out of your way to get totally different shocks for each end of your rig?

this is what i was thinking. ^^

in my opinion skyjacker hydros or any plain brand hydros ride like crap. nitros will ride much better. also look into just doing bilsteins or doestch tech. bilsteins ride super nice and doestch tech pre-runners have a lot of travel. otherwise just get regular nitro shocks(or hydros if you like riding in a dump-truck simulation)

I like my es9000. I can tell a huge ride difference going over objects on and off the road compared to stock and other aftermarket shocks( my brother has RC shocks on his)

Quality shocks are worth their weight in gold.

Type of shock has nothing to do with flex. The right travel does.

I am changing out my rusty's white shocks for bilstein 5125. I can compress the white shocks by hand but unable to with the 5125. Just sayin...
