Default Shock sounds?

Whenever i hit any sort of bump on the road there is a horrible sound coming from the right front of the jeep. It sounds like metal on metal or if you run with change in your pocket. It is the most annoying sound! Could it mean that the right front shock is blown out or could it be something else? I also checked to see if anything was lose and i couldnt find anything. ANY help would be appreciated.

Can you make it make noise when stopped by bouncing on that corner or something? If so, have someone do that while you trace it. If not, does everything feel normal? There are a lot of parts under load when hitting bumps. You could disconnect that shock and go over a few bumps and see if it is gone. Just do it in a small controlled area. They are really bouncy without a shock

It could be something that worked loose under the hood, shocks/shock bushings, control arm bushings...time to start experimenting.

I cannot make the sound when im stopped and try to bounce on the corner. I sometimes hear the sound when i put it into drive from park. Could it be something involved with the transmission. I also noticed that my swaybar bushings are pretty dry rotted. Could that make the chinging sound i hear? Im such a noob at this ha

Those bushings look decent. What about the bushing on top of shock?

try lightly power braking the jeep and have someone look at the motor and if it jumps around alot i would say that might be the cause. ive probably replaced about 3 motor mounts in my jeep

New info: I still havent figured it out, its not the shock, but when it rains the sound goes away. It rained for a couple days here and i drove it around over some bumpy roads and i did not hear the chinging sound.
