How are you guys doing it and what did it generally set you back? Its it easier to just slap a shipping label on the leafs and box up the control arms, coils and shocks? I used search and surprisingly dint find much
Appreciate any feedback.

Yes, wrap the leaves and box everything else. Take it to the post office and say "How much will this cost to ship."
Usually, they'll tell you a number.
Then you'll want to convert that number to USD by adding a "$" out front.
I've seen, in some rare cases, that they want to give you the number in Morse code. In this case, you'll want to rough them up a little. That usually does the trick and they surrender easily.

Well it cost me around $130 to have my Zone full leaf kit shipped to from michigan (i'm in chicago). They just slapped labels on the leafs and everything else was 2 other boxes

ya see the big companies get a mass shipping discount. I know on the RC site they say 69.99 if the package weighs less than 300 which this will weigh less. I just want to walk over to the ups store and give him an idea/ weight of what I am shipping and getting a ballpark quote. I dont even know where to get a box for all the other parts lol... such awkward shapes.

Lol ups guy just said they cant do labels on the leafs and that it would be freight if it was 200lbs.
Just going to do local sale I suppose, what a waste of time

I find it hard to believe they wont allow it on the leaf packs. Was this a driver or a ups store? Either way, I would call the nearest DC and ask them. Most ups stores are independently owned, and they dont know the rules or wont go the extra step.

UPS guy is full of ****. I've ordered from Summit Racing and every time their leafs came by UPS and just had shipping labels thrown on them.

+2 on UPS being full of caca. I ship leaf springs out a couple times a week. Put the shipping tag on and make sure it's taped on good. It torques the UPS people when they have to lug leafs but they make it happen.
