I got a 2001 Center console for my 91 Jeep Cherokee, I cleaned all the everyday dust and such off it with Armorall dash cleaner. When I go to install this everything will line up like the gear shift and the 4X4 gear shift right? Now how do I move over the E Brake? Not sure if there was a thread for this or not.

 

there is mention of it, probably a few times, saw it not too long ago... get creative with your search terms and it may pop up. don't think it was too complicated...

I just found an older center console....hehe. It was better than the "mini console" I had that was just a shifter cover and a seperate E-brake cover>

 

You probably have a 2 door huh?

 

The Ebrake shifter is mounted differently and there is a metal bracket in the back of the console that mounts to the floor

 

No shes a four door....I love the 2 doors though

How did you move the E brake? Thats my only question, Other than that, looks like everything else lines up. Did you have to get a 97-01 E Brake or just used your current one?

 

I have the 4 door and it has the same two piece console set up, I can't find the single piece console with the cup holders, ive looked all over the place

 

i have the two piece console and I hate it, I've been looking for the single piece with the cup holders and can't find it anywhere
