Default Pick Up A 5.9 Limited ZJ?

So I have the opportunity to purchase a 98 Limited 5.9...
Just under 190k on the clock...
Body is nice, no rust at all.. no dents, dings, etc...
Some rock chips across the front end is about it
(Most of which would be hidden behind a bug guard)
It's the silver color, with almost perfect black leather...
Runs perfect...
Brakes pulse a little, which I didn't look in depth into, but it DOES have newer slotted & cross drilled rotors..
Seatbelt light stays on, and sounds like maybe some wheel bearings needing some attention in the rear...
But other than that... it's in REALLY good, clean DD condition...

Would be purchasing for my 17 year old daughter...
She currently drives a NICE VW Cabrio, but it's just not her thing really...
All summer, I think she only put the top down to clean the car...
She would love more room for her golf clubs, friends.. Overall... just stuff..

Before anyone mentions it...
Yes.. She is spoiled (Like her mother)
And she lives, acts, is way beyond her years in maturity....

I guess I'm just looking for conformation...
But I'm guessing this would be a good DD for her?

We don't get insanely bad winters here in the E.Washington desert...
But I think my wife & I would rest easier knowing she had a better rig this winter, rather than the little VW...

Thoughts....?
FWIW
190Kish miles...
Good shape..
Female owned/driven for last 13+years...
ALOT of records...
$2300

Thanks for the insights!!!

Looks good. But if she is spoiled, do whatv my pops did and buy her a new graduation vehicle right away. Thatv way you don't have to do it next year haha!! It's nearing 20 years old. My parents had me looking at 90s vehicles before they decided I shoukd be on something newer and a little safer. My good grades also helped haha!

Buy it! Buy it now! That is a pretty rare and highly sought after model. Well worth the asking price!

Thanks for the info guys. ..
Just a little FYI...
Not my 1st rodeo with ZJ's (forgot to mention that)
I had a 97 with a 5.2 for a long time. ..
And I've known about the 5.9's for a long time, my brother actually owns one, which he bought new off the showroom floor & still drives it everyday after almost 300k miles! !!
He has the means to purchase about any vehicle of his choosing, and still loves his ZJ....

My hold up at this point is to call my insurance company. ...
I tried to quote the 5.9 yesterday & their system stated they wouldn't cover it. ..
Has to be a glitch in the system, as my wife & I have good credit, & all 3 have perfect driving records...

I've already told the current owner about it, and baring that little speedbump... also told him we would take it. ..

Will update later this afternoon after work

Already spoke to the insurance company. ...
I guess it's a vehicle that pops up in their system, but makes no Nevermind in the state of Washington. ..
Should be picking it up Wednesday

Normally, in this forum, gas mileage is not really an issue. But youre going from a tiny little vw to a gas guzzling beast. It will easily burn twice the gas of the vw. Just something to think about.

This point has been brought to her attention...
We went over the pro's & con's of both vehicles, and honestly.....
I'm not sure which one she will stick with.. (I'm hoping the VW)
Lucky for her, the high school is about 5 minutes away, and she is getting a job that is only about 3 minutes from our home... So fuel consumption won't be a huge ordeal, unless she goes out fiddle farting around a lot...

We are keeping the Cabrio, will be shoving it in the garage under a cover for the winter...
So if the mileage just doesn't work out.. She can go back to the VW & guess who gets the 5.9!!!

Danny the easy way to spot one is the hood vents like in the picture. Those vents was only on the 5.9.Also the grill and rims are different the rest of the zjs.

The 5.9 is ours....
We haven't made the transaction, but he has pulled the "for sale" ad & assured us it's ours..
We should hopefully pick it up tomorrow
Stay tuned....
