Hell I'd take $3500 for mine in a heart beat lol. But running short arms on 6.5" isnt a good idea anyways. anything over 4.5" should have long arms. Period.

It will cost you that much to build another. Don't bother.

It costs that much for you to have your tires rotated. What do you know?

Talked to the guy again and he said he would do $7000-$7500..haha. So I'm thinking RC 4.5 FullLeafs, 15x10 simulated beadlocks, 33 12.5 km2s, trimmed fenders, and a Reese tow hitch...will this be enough ya think?

99.9% of the time someone who offers to buy your vehicle when you're not selling it is full of ****. My dad has been offered a price for his XJ numerous times. 3 of which he got their number, they didn't answer their phone when he called.

IF he would buy it I'd say sell it. Why not? Do you like building them? I know I'd definitely do things different a second time around. Slightly cheaper and a helluva lot better.

Dealing with broken shock bolts and rusted in leaf spring bolts would suck but I'm more experienced now.

I'd go with long arms at 4.5... that's what Will has and he loves it. Long Arms = better flex and ride. I wouldn't touch Rough Country, either. Especially if you're going to have 7k to spend...

No bank on the planet would loan $7500 on a 1998 Jeep Cherokee with 155k. Not gonna happen. Not even if it has a golden steering wheel and the exhaust spits out diamonds.

Money I have in my XJ:

Initial purchase in 2008 - $2400
Window tint - $100+
OME front lift coils - $160
Rear shackles - $50

Seat covers - $30
New instrument cluster - $20
White face overlays - $10
New radiator - $70
Diff cover - $70
Rotors/pads - $80
Rear brake job - $40
Rear hatch struts - $45
Equus temp gauge - $40
Temp gauge/housing - $20
Oil pressure sender - $20
Front floor mats - $70
Rear floor mat - $20
PDR dent repair - $100
Air Hogg - $15
Thrush muffler - $35
Muffler welded on - $25

Don't have this written down anywhere, this is just what I can remember off the top of my head, some prices aren't exact but close enough.

There's more, just can't think of it right now, but with everything included it would be almost 7k.

No, wouldn't sell it for 7k, took 5 years of work to get it the way I want it, that work is worth a lot to me, I don't want to start all over again, and I'm not finished building it yet anyway.

Over half of that looks like general maintenance and a trip down the "Performance" aisle at Autozone.

IMO, general maintenance and things like floor mats, racing pedals and exhaust tips don't get counted.

It's a good thing you're not planning to sell it. Ever.
