Default Sedona AZ Photo Shoot

I know this belongs in the 4 corners Neighborhoods forum but I feel like those don't get very much traffic sorry.

So my wife is wanting to do her Maternity photo shoot in Sedona with a scenic red rock backdrop. I know Sedona is full of beautiful locations for this but my issue is she is 8 1/2 months pregnant and I do not want to take her on any trails that are too rough. does anyone have any suggestions for any simple trails with picturesque points along the way? if you have any pics they would also be greatly appreciated.

Great area. Not specifically. Though it seems like there's a lot of picturesque scenic pull outs on State Route 89A, along Oak Creek, north of Sedona.

There are plenty of spots to get the shots without going off road there.

Ever considered Jerome overlooking the Verde valley?

honestly I didn't but thinking about it now it may be something to discuss with the wife. we both love northern AZ (from spring to early fall anyway we don't do cold well cuz we are dessert rats) so I just think almost anywhere north of phoenix will serve our purposes lol

Take Perkinsville road out of Chino Valley to Jerome. While there, visit the Gold King Mine and Museum. Plus the old Clark house and the old car dealership.

Stop at Rock Springs. Best pie (amazing blackberry and rhubarb) and cinnamon rolls (really). Waterfall, etc. She deserves it. Sets a good tone for the trip, makes you a hero, etc. Crazy road side attraction but quite well done.

Actually my wife and I stop at rock springs for pie almost every time we come back from camping in flagstaff. the pie is amazing but the food could be better and the little shops are fun to poke around in as well.
